Welcome to the Transportation Theme Bedroom Page.

Here you will find all kinds of great tips and ideas to create the coolest theme room possible.

If your son is into plane, trains, and automobiles, then this is the right page for you. Let us help you turn your kids “plain” bedroom into a really cool “plane” room.

The first step in creating a great theme room it to get really "cool" bedding!

In every theme room that I help to create, great bedding is absolute must! It makes it so much easier to decorate off of the design of the bedding. In “most cases the bed is the focal point of the room. (It is after all called a bedroom) LOL

The bedspread or comforter can give you your inspiration and your color scheme. The bedding can also really help you carry your theme.

I have search on line and found a few places that have some really great trucks and cars bedding! In different price ranges.

In the photo above that bedding set is available from the Bed and Bath Category at Target. The price is really good and sometimes they are running free shipping!

Here are some really great and easy tips on how to create the Coolest transportatation theme bedroom ever!

  • I love in the photo above how they used a highway to create a room divider. This was painted free handed. This could bed done rather easily, with masking tape black paint and a few dashes. (highways twist and turn anyway so there is some room for error)

  • Don’t want to free hand it try a great boarder. I also like how the room is painted two different colors on top and bottom. The green and blue work really well here. But if your color scheme is different you could also paint it different and it still look great.

  • Free hand a few clouds on the wall. ( Or use some wall decals)

  • The names are fored from

  • Locate a great lamp. They make some really, really cute train and airplane lamps.

  • Hang a few model airplanes from the ceiling.

  • Get a great rug. I am a fan of theme base rugs. They help carry the theme to the floor. transportation theme bedroom divider
